And the winner is...

Zion has a Geography Bee each year and the winner from each grade level competes in the school level competition. This year there were TWO OTT KIDS in the competition! Adam won for the 8th grade and Haley won the 6th grade spot. As one of the kids in Haley's class commented - "Man! The Ott's dominate!" This was Adam's second year in the school level competition and he did a GREAT job! I'm sure he was disappointed when he was eliminated but the questions were really tough! Even the school principle told me that she didn't know alot of the answers and she is one smart cookie..uh-hum...lady (she is the principle!). But there can only be one person at the end and Haley made it though. She was so excited she was beaming! We are so proud of both of them for taking academics so seriously. They really are pretty smart! The Geography Bee was last Thursday and, as the winner of the school bee, Haley had to take an hour long test to advance to the state level. She took that test today after school but we don't have the results yet. We'll keep you posted!!
