There is TONS to do at the Saint Louis Science Center but 'building' the arch with foam blocks is always one of the kids favorites. It is not as easy as it looks, though! The blocks usually come tumbling down before they even get close to the last block. Today, they almost made it but couldn't quite get the last one in without toppling the tower! Oh well - they had fun anyway! It was so hot out that we decided to go to the Science Cneter since it is one of the fun indoor activities in our area. Kael really wanted to go to the zoo but I don't think he would've lasted very long in the heat. We also made a trip through the Missouri History Museum. Haley is our history buff (besides me) so she really enjoyed it. If you ever make a trip to the Gateway City (St. Louis!) make sure you spend a day or two around Forest Park. It's beautiful and has so many activities! The Zoo, Science Center, Turtle Park, the Jewel Box (a huge atrium with gorgeous seasonal displays), the Muny (outdoor theatre), Art Museum, History Museum and tons more. I keep saying that we are going to take family pictures out there but we haven't made it yet. Hopefully this year we will!
