Lesson learned...

You would think that I would know better. I wnet out with the kids this morning to hunt for Easter Eggs in the snow (yes, it is snowing!) and I forgot to double check all the seetings on my camera. The kids were moving so fast that I popped on my 50mm lens, set the aperature and shutter speed and started clicking. I never checked the any of the shots on the LCD. And I never checked the ISO. I set it to 400 at the auction because it's so dark in the hall and never changed it back. So I was disappointed when I downloaded these shots to post on the blog and found them totally over exposed. I thought I was doing great getting these pictures out here so quickly. And I really wanted shots of the kids finding easter eggs, in their pajamas and with snow flakes falling all around. I guess I learned my lesson...ALWAYS check ALL of my settings, don't just start shooting! The cool thing is that Kael's eyes are SOOO blue that they pop out even when everything else is completely washed out!
