Of all the things we did in Orlando while we were there, all 3 kids liked Sea World the best. And of course, Shamu was the favorite of the whole trip. After the show, Kael declared that he is going to be a whale trainer (as long as the water is warm because he doesn't like to be cold!). We sat in the 'soak zone' right up front and Adam & Haley got soaked for sure! I was soaked on one side and dry on the other and somehow, Kael managed to only get a few drops of water on him. But no one minded. It was so amazing to watch that huge fish play so gently with the trainers and jump around like it's nothing. I went to Sea World in San Diego all the time as a kid and, I have to say, it is still so much fun to watch. And one of the best parts was that it was FREE! Thanks to Sea World's ' Salute to the Heroes', military members and 3 dependants can go once a year absolutely free. So I had a little cash left to buy a 3 foot long stuffed Shamu as a souvenir. He is now everyone's favorite pillow!
