Knows that I LOVE flamingos!! I think it is really my way of holding on to the warm and tropical lifestyle I had in California and Hawaii. I love the beach, the sun, the water - everything - and I really do miss living near the ocean. (Jamie tried to make me feel more at home when we moved here and said "You still have the river!" refering to the mighty Mississippi, which I wouldn't swim in if you paid me! Not quit the same, honey!) When I go to the zoo, Sea World, or anywhere else with animals, I always want to see the flamingos first and I usually want to see them again before I leave for the day because I just love them. They are pretty and pink and just so awesome! I have told Jamie that I want a flamingo in our yard and he refuses. This coming from a guy who grew up with people who put statues of deer and geese and ducks in their yard. And alot of them dress their geese according to the season. And he thinks flamingos are tacky?!?!? Oh well. Some people may not like them but I adore flamingos - at least I have pictures!
