So I got out the camera to start on my first day of 'Project 365' - a challenge to capture at least one photo of something going on in my life and document it - and I couldn't stop taking pictures. It doesn't hurt that I love my new camera and am having fun experimenting with the different lenses and trying to figure just how to get the shot that I see in my minds eye. This sunset was captured driving down the highway, on the way to Adam's basketball game. (No, I wasn't driving - I'm not that obsessed with taking pictures!) You can see the St Louis Arch and the rest of downtown. It may not be a great shot but it shows the pride of our little midwest town. I'm not from here originally and never thought I would end up in the midwest - I mean I LOVE the beach! But seeing the arch every single day on my way to and from work is amazing. It's beautiful and a little inspiring to see the Gateway to the West on the horizon. So this is photo #1 for day 9 of Project 365.
