The best days...

Honestly, the best days of my life were spent at RAF Edzell in Scotland. I met my best friend ever and we are getting ready to celebrate our 16th wedding anniversary. We got to see some beautiful sites in Scotland, England and Ireland, France, Amsterdam and on and on. We made great friends there and still keep in touch with some of them (not enough!). I loved my job when I was there and I loved the Navy. I still regret not retiring but I did get out at was the right time for us. And days like today make me realize that, as tough as it could be, I loved being in the Navy. The history, the job, the discipline, the mission. Wish people nowadays had that...
